A Labor Day Reminder for the Mom Who Does So Much đź’›

Hello Reader,

Labor Day usually makes us think about work.

But today, I found myself thinking about a different kind of work.

The work moms do every single day.

The planning.

The driving.

The cooking.

The cleaning.

The remembering.

The checking in.

The showing up.

The carrying of things nobody else even realizes need to be carried.

And sometimes, while we’re busy doing all of that, we forget that we need care too.

So today, I want to give you a simple reminder:

You do not have to earn rest.

You do not have to finish every task first.

You do not have to have a perfect week behind you.

You do not have to “make up” for anything.

You are allowed to slow down.

You are allowed to enjoy your day.

You are allowed to take a walk because it feels good.

You are allowed to stretch, breathe, sit down, laugh, nap, drink your water, enjoy your food, and simply be present.

Healthy living is not only about pushing harder.

Sometimes it is about knowing when to pause.

Sometimes it is choosing rest without guilt.

And sometimes your one small step is doing less.

So if today gives you a little extra room to breathe, use some of it for you.

Not because everything else is finished.

But because you matter too.

Enjoy your Labor Day, Mom. đź’›

P.S.

Before the day ends, ask yourself:

“What would feel good for me today?”

Then give yourself permission to do at least one small thing that honors the answer. đź’›

Hello Reader, If I asked you what the biggest fitness mistake busy moms make is... You might say: Not exercising enough. Eating too much. Skipping workouts. But in my experience... None of those are the biggest mistake. The biggest mistake is believing that if you can't do everything, it's not worth doing anything. Sound familiar? Maybe you've thought:"I only have 15 minutes, so I'll skip it." Or... "I already ate something unhealthy today, so I might as well start over Monday." I've been...

Hello Reader, Can you believe it's already July? It's been a little while since I've landed in your inbox, and honestly... I've been thinking about you. Over the past several weeks, I've been soaking up some much-needed family time, making memories with my kids, and taking a step back to enjoy the moments that matter most. While I was away, I found myself thinking about the incredible moms in this community and how easy it is for all of us to put ourselves at the bottom of the list. Life gets...

Hello Reader, Quick truth: You’re not always going to feel motivated. And that’s okay. The women who get results? They don’t rely on motivation… They rely on discipline. That looks like: ✔ Doing the workout even when you don’t feel like it✔ Making better choices even when you're tired✔ Showing up even when it’s not convenient Motivation comes and goes. But discipline? That’s what keeps you going. Today, I want you to do ONE thing you’ve been putting off. Just one. Then build from there. Reply...
